Nigerian bakers to partner French firms on equipment technology

The event covers sectors such as craft bakery, industrial bakery, pastry-making, chocolate making and confectionery, ice-cream making, eat-in and take away, shop equipment.
Over 600 exhibitors from 25 exhibiting countries are expected at the event, with over 80,000 visitors and professionals. 143 countries are expected to visit the exhibition ground and open to visitors from 9:30a.m. to 6 p.m for the two days of the event.
“It is expected to give Nigerian companies the opportunity to acquire new production equipment and get first-hand training on the use of such equipment. Some of the Nigerian companies expected to attend the programme include Sweet Sensation, Tetrazini and other confectionary companies in the country,” says Akin Akinbola, general manager, Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
The event is expected to make bakers and confectionary operators to be more innovative, creative, more productive and improve their technical performances as the modern equipment have better safety features and time savings.
