Virgin Atlantic has said it is investing £100m over the next three years to improve its upper class cabin services around the world.
A statement by the airline says as part of the investment, a ‘fine dining’ experience, would be added to upper class cabin from March 1, 2012.
“Influenced by some of the best British restaurants and private members clubs, the new Upper Class dining service has been completely redesigned and customers will enjoy customized menus, with local delicacies such as Nigerian style lamb and chicken stew served with jollof rice and wilted spinach,” the statement added.
The inauguration of other new business class products, according to the statement would commence on Virgin’s Atlantic’s London Heathrow to New York JFK flights.
