GKFX Financial Services Group (trading as GKFX), a young and dynamic brokerage firm offering global online currency services and commodities trading, has opened a country representative office in Lagos.
The coming GKFX Markets Limited, analysts say, signals a very interesting move for this unique broker that operates mostly through local offices and branches rather than just online marketing.
Edward Iwu, director/CEO of GKFX Markets Limited, speaking at the inauguration and launching of the firm, noted that in line with its mission statement of offering global investors cutting edge global brokerage services, it would be offering a wide array of products and unique services aimed at revolutionising FX- Commodities trading and support services in the country.
“Our decision to establish our GKFX Sub- Sahara Africa office in Lagos was made in recognition of Nigeria’s importance as the largest and potentially most important market in Africa,” said Iwu.
Iwu who is also a Director of Stronix Consults Limited further stated that global online currencies and commodities trading in Nigeria is expected to receive a boost with the Group’s decision to deepen its presence in the country by establishing office in Lagos with future plans to open branch offices in Abuja and Port Harcourt.
He said that Nigerian clients specifically require more personal touch and unique services, hence GKFX Markets Limited opened not only an office for sales support but also a trading/ learning room at its state of the art facility where anyone can come to learn and trade whether they have equipment and experience or not, thus expanding the client aquisition potentials of the company.
The company will be providing free market analysis and basic training programmes, seminars in FX, Commodities trading.
