Dataflex, one of Nigeria's foremost Information Technology Companies, has added cloud computing technology to its list of services.
Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices as a metered service over a network.
The new technology provides computation, software, data access, and storage resources without requiring cloud users to know the location and other details of the computing infrastructure.
According to the firm, it would enable businesses achieve rapid service delivery, as it adds computing power in support of IT and business services more quickly than would be possible with today's computing infrastructure. Speaking at the company's management retreat, Andy Nwani, managing director, Dataflex said: 'We at DATAFLEX believe that it is the key to future development and would provoke a certain level of Cultural change'.
