Nigerians are getting fed up with the Federal Government’s repeated promises on power supply. This sentiment played out following the recent pledge by Barth Nnaji, minister of Power, of an additional 1,500 Mega Watts (MW) in power to be delivered to the grid by year end.

The National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) says the Federal Government has given licence to more than 50 independent power producers to ensure stable power supply under the new dispensation.
