NATIONALIZE OUR OIL AND GAS.
In the interest of Nigeria and in particular Nigerians, the government of President Goodluck Jonathan should kindly nationalize our oil and gas assets. Our government cannot fold its hands and allow our resources partitioned in our very eyes. Who says all these Oil companies are leaving. Do you think they are that honest? What’s actually happening is that they have formed partner companies in other countries and they are only selling their stakes to such companies. A worthless asset can be overvalued in the bidding process and if care is not taken money would be lost on unverifiable resources.
What we need urgently is for the Nigerian government to take over these resources and sell to indigenous Nigerian companies only. Money can then be paid on ventures proven viable.
