De-United bags Lagos State Ministry of Education award

It would be recalled that company had in the recent times, been commended by the state government for various youth developmental programmes in state.

This time, the childrens favourite brand got the JAM Feast 2007 ˜Propeler of heroic-Act in young people and contribution to education award from the Deputy Governor, Sarah Adebisi Sosan, who presented the award to the company at a colourful event held at the Combo hall of LTV/EKO FM, in Ikeja, Lagos

The award is an annual event put together by Lagos State Ministry of Education to primarily sensitise and educate youths against the HIV/AIDS pandemic through symposia, drama and other forms of arts.

It also rewards corporate organizations who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of education in the state.

Explaining the reason for the award, F.O. Oyekan, director, private education and special project, said the ministry employed the platform to appreciate and recognize corporate organisations, who through selfless social responsibilities, have contributed to educational development of the state.
