Spring Bank COTplus to boost bank customers earnings

Emma Akadu the bank’s acting head of retail banking, said the idea of COTplus was conceived following the need to make special provision for high net worth individuals, high income professionals, traders and corporate organizations.
According to him, COTplus offers some unique benefits, which put it ahead of other competing products in the banking industry, enabling the bank to offer its esteemed customers convenience and flexibility in their business transactions. Other benefits of the COTplus account include non restriction on number of withdrawals per month, free customized cheque book on account, free debit cards for ease and convenience, access to internet and SMS banking, comprehensive monthly statements and an automatic qualification for the free Spring Bank debit card.
The account operates on minimum opening and operating balance of N100,000.00 and attracts zero COT on all withdrawals provided the minimum balance is maintained.
The bank also pays bonus COT of 25 kobo per mille, that is, 25 kobo on every N10,000, on credit turnover average credit turnover of N500,000 and above to qualify for.
However, any withdrawal that leaves account balance below N100,000 attracts COT charge of 5/mille for that month.
