Diamond Bank introduces DLSupport to fast-track import transactions

As part of efforts to assist its clients enhance the efficiency of their import clearing transactions, Diamond Bank plc is partnering with GMT Nigeria Limited, to introduce DLSupport, an import support service.
According to the bank, the DLSupport is aimed at reducing the processes of completing import transactions by providing clients with a one-stop point for all their import activities, and making it more cost-effective.
“The customer has a single point of contact for everything related to import and gains cheaper access to industry leading services by leveraging on the collective bargaining power of all the bank’s customers,” the bank said.
Import activities covered by DLSupport include trading processes such as the processing of Form M, letters of credit, shipping documents, RAR processing and access to the financial services under the bank’s trade finance.
Also, the service handles clearing services including HS code assistance, handling of entire clearing process, duty payment, managing refundable container deposits as well as nationwide delivery through prompt livery to any location across the country. Besides these features, the support service also protects importers against incurring demurrage through exceptional service conditions.
