Nigerians ‘write’ alternative Independence broadcast for Buhari

As it is customary for a sitting Nigerian president to give a nationwide broadcast every October 1 since the country’s Independence in 1960, President Muhammadu Buhari will likely live up to that billing today. As the nation awaits that ritual, some citizens decided to chronicle what they believe should have formed the bulk of the content of the President’s broadcast today.
