The awards which is expected to be presented by President Umaru Yar’ Adua is in recognition of the immense contribution of the recipients to the growth and development of the country through their employment generation and other notable patriotic initiatives in the productive, wealth and employment generation sectors of the economy.While announcing the awards, the minister of labour, Adetokunbo Kayode, commended the efforts of the recipients towards gainful employment generation, adding that no nation could enhance the quality of life of its citizens without improvement in all the sectors of the economy.
