A recent United Nations report blamed most of the incidents of oil spills in the country on acts of sabotage and vandalism carried out by militants and oil thieves in the Niger Delta region. Alexander Chiejina reports that the report been generating so much controversy and outrage with many critics accusing the global body of taking sides with the oil companies.
