VDT harps on importance of internet connectivity to insurance companies

VDT Communications has decided to sponsor the forth coming eInsurance conference which will address the challenges faced by insurance companies and the usefulness of internet connection in these companies. 
The need to further develop the Nigerian Insurance industry, has become very crucial, owing to its importance in driving the financial sector. 
As a result, Biodun Omoniyi, MD/CEO of VDT Communications Limited, is scheduled to speak as one of the panelists on “Internet Connectivity” in the insurance industry during the eInsurance conference.
The company took the decision to take part in the conference as a Platinum sponsor in addition to the crucial role VDT is playing by providing its services to a large number of the operators in the Nigerian insurance industry and to further develop and grow Nigeria’s insurance industry. 
The maiden event, which seeks to address the challenges faced by insurance companies in the area of payment of entitlements and other related issues, is being organised by Pinet Informatics.
According to David Ese, Marketing Communications Manager at VDT, other panel discussions scheduled for the conference would explore how Nigerian insurance industry can leverage on technology in the areas of insurance education, insurance underwriting, insurance brokerage, ePayment, national health insurance schemes, data hosting and domain name and insurance products.
