Movie Review: American Assassin

Movie Review: American Assassin

Mitch Rapp played a vital role in the movie, he became very withdrawn and aggressive after he went on a vacation with his fiance, who got killed by terrorists.

They spared his life not even knowing why, and so he vowed that he was going to take them down one way or another. He started the mission by learning everything about the group, their language, behavior, culture, history and dressing.  He did that for years as he then started to train and equip himself ahead of time, so he could withstand any pressure that came his way.

Scenes from American Assassin

American Assassin was action packed from beginning to the end and the director, Michael Cuesta, made sure to keep the viewers clued to their seats. The bad guy stayed unknown till the end, as Mitch built the plot with his preparation and CIA’s intrusion.

The movie has a good storyline and the plot stages were perfect. There was a blend of everything – love, action, suspense and lessons to be learnt too. Though some people had some reservations about it but I did enjoy every minute of the movie

To my rating I will give the movie a generous 7/10. I recommend it for you this weekend.
