The governor made the appeal on Wednesday in Nnewi, at the official commissioning of the Diocesan Secretariat of the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi.
Obi, who addressed the congregation, spoke of government’s plan to rebuild Anambra “from the scratch”.
He urged the people of the state to remain steadfast in their prayers, especially for Nigerian leaders at all levels.
In a sermon, the Archbishop of Lagos Diocese, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, admonished the staff of the newly built secretariat to see themselves as servants of God.
Okogie urged the staff to render quality service by giving willingly with diligence
and love.
