One-Image Cinematography set to equip youths with photography, videography skills

One-Image Cinematography Services, a division of One-Image Logistics is set to equip youths in the South-South region, especially Rivers State, with skills in photography and videography. To this end, the organization has slated a two-day skill acquisition programme on photography and videography.
The training programme, which is scheduled for 3rd and 4th March, 2017, in Port Harcourt, is expected to empower the youths and interested adults on the skill that will get them gainfully employed and put food on their table.
Speaking on the impending programme, the organizer, Cyprian Obasi, said the main aim of the training programme is to create jobs, empower people with skills for wealth creation, thereby reducing the penchant for taking to crime in the society.
“It is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the society for me;” adding that “the resource persons for the programme will leave nothing undone until each participant was equipped and empowered to handle the camera effectively,” said Obasi.
He therefore enjoined the traditional institutions, religious leaders and the state government to take advantage of the golden opportunity to empower their people.
Obasi stressed that the programme could not have come at a better time than now, with a push by individuals, corporate bodies and government for knowledge driven economy and the economic recession that has hit Nigeria.
He observed that with of skills from the skills acquisition training, participants would be equipped not only to be independent but to also become employers of labour. He therefore, called on the populace to take advantage of this golden opportunity.
