Nicolas Terraz, the Managing director of Total E&P Nigeria LTD has expressed optimism on increase availability of Gas following the Gas and Agreement between NNPC/TEPNG Joint Ventures recently.

The Managing director in a statement obtained by BusinessDay said the signing is a demonstration of NNPC/TEPNG Joint ventures commitment to the Nigerian domestic market.
The project ,the Managing director said will increase the availability of Gas for Nigeria in a tremendous manner .
“It is going to make gas available on a much larger scale anywhere in the country, because transportation of the energy by Trucks will allow Gas to be available from the South to the West and to the North”he said.
He explained Total’s involvement in the dealing stating that,”Total is supplying the Gas from the ground, and we are supplying the Gas to Greenville ,and the Greeville is liquifying the Gas and to deliver it to the customers.”
He states further that Gas Supply to Greeville LNG plant will commence soon,as he explained the step will provide cleaner energy to local industries and will reduce emission of greenhouse gases, thereby protecting our environment.
The signing of this agreement, the managing director said is a new demonstration of our support to the Nigerian government’s objectives to develop local industries capacities, encourage direct foreign investments, and boost GDP growth in line with the President’s gas based industrialisation.
