Oil markets strengthen as U.S. shale struggles

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose to its highest level in more than a month last week, hovering just around $50 per barrel. Brent surpassed $55 per barrel, the highest level since the beginning of the year. Strong demand combined with easing fears about hurricane disruptions in the U.S. has pushed oil up this past week….
