Proxy Logics signs distributor agreement for analysis software
Proxy Logics Nigeria, a leading enterprise geospatial systems and enterprise industrial optimisation applications solutions provider has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with EpsilomSA, a software provider based in the United Kingdom.
This authorises the company to distribute Noran Engineering Nastran Finite Element Analysis software in Nigeria.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a computer simulation technique used in engineering analysis. It uses a numerical technique called the finite element method (FEM). Proxy Logics will be targeting two major industries: Offshore oil and gas and civil.
In a statement in Lagos recently, Proxy Logics Country managing director, Alabo George, expressed his excitement about the excellent opportunity to expand Finite Element Analysis (FEA) opportunities in Nigeria through this distributorship agreement.
“We are setting the right structures for marketing, training and support, and have drafted Emmanuel Bilfred our industry support specialist from our Calabar office to the headquarters in Port Harcourt to man the FEA desk,” he said.
Commenting on the partnership, president of the Africa Engineering Group, Kofi Bade, commended Proxy Logics for supplying Nigerian organisations with software solutions designed to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
He expressed worry with the level of piracy in the country, and commended Proxy Logics for stepping up its product security strategies in the country.
For many years, Proxy Logics has offered dedicated high end content and application support to a wide range of industries, from utilities, telecommunications, civil, transportation to manufacturing.
